Advantages |
A detailed interview of the employee is conducted by a BMI psychologist trained in absence management, followed
by consultative dialogue with treatment providers. We focus on developing high-quality, empirically validated plans for treatment
that focus on function and timely return to work. The BMI Psychologist will follow-up with the employee and provider on a regular
basis until the employee successfully returns to work, or case closure.
|
A peer to peer consultation between a BMI physician is the most effective method for accurate, updated information.
The BMI physician will focus on objective standards of impairment, timeline for recovery and appropriateness of treatment.
|
The multiple and complex diagnoses can lead to extended disability durations. Critical to recovery on complex
cases is a coordinated treatment plan that addresses both medical and psychological barriers to recovery. BMI specializes in
assessing and treating comorbid diagnoses, and identifying steps to the clearest path to productivity.
